The first volume of Rucksack Magazine is a celebration of winter.
A Limited Edition of Rucksack's first ever volume, The Winter Issue has been reprinted and redesigned. With the original content still beautifully showcased, there is an added selection of new visual and written stories. The magazine remains a celebration of a season habitually thought of as miserable and impossibly long, whilst at the same time exploring the difficulties and darkness that can overtake the enjoyment of this time of year. Rucksack's attempt to summit mountains Shasta, Suilven and Baker, learn about the ‘Arctic Surfers’ braving the bitter Icelandic waters and interview artist Mya Kerner and photographer Jan Keller. The visual stories capture the iconic landscapes of Lapland and the Scottish Highlands in the depths of winter.
