'Not Quite' Blackberry Crumble Smoothie

The nights are drawing in, the leaves are starting to change colour, there is a nip in the air first thing on a morning…autumn looks to be on its way. Hot soups, casseroles, log fires, and good old British puddings are back on the menu.

Show me anyone who does not love a fruit crumble in the autumn months!

We have come up with our take on a family favorite - Blackberry Crumble and made a ‘Not Quite' Blackberry Crumble Smoothie instead. 

Not Quite Blackberry Crumble Smoothie

  • 350ml Oat Milk
  • 100g Brambles
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 
  • 1 sweet dessert pear 
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (omega-3 rich little gems)
  • Generous glug of maple syrup (to taste)

 Blend all the ingredients till smooth.

For that little je ne said quoi, toast some hazelnuts and scatter on top for a crunchy slurp.
